Hi. I thought this place looked a little lonely. So...I thought I would post this amusing translation of Sir Mix-A-Lot's Baby Got Back. Enjoy ~
By Hercules!
Rebecca, behold! Such large buttocks she has!
She appears to be a girlfriend of one of those rhythmic-oration people.
But, as you know,
Who can understand persons of this sort?
Verily, they converse with her for this reason only, namely, that she appears to be a complete whore.
Her buttocks, I say, are rather large!
Nor am I able to believe how round they are.
Lo! How they stand forth! Do they not disgust you?
Behold the black woman!
Large buttocks are pleasing to me,
nor am I able to lie concerning this matter.
For who, colleagues, would not admit,
Whenever a girl comes by with a rather small middle part of the body
Beneath which is an obvious spherical mass, that it inflames the spirits
So that you want to be conspicuous for manly virtue,
noticing her breeches
Have been deeply stuffed with buttock?
Alas! I am captured, nor am I able to desist from gazing.
My dear lady, I want to come together with you
And make a picture of you.
My companions were trying to warn me
But those buttocks of yours arouse lust in me.
O skin wrinkled and smooth!
Did you say you wish to enter my vehicle?
I am entirely at your disposal
Because you are not an average hanger-on.
I have seen her dancing.
Forget, therefore, about blandishments!
Such sweat! Such moisture!
I am borne along as if by a four-horse chariot!
I am tired of reading in the gazettes
That flat buttocks are judged more pleasing.
Ask any black men you wish: the answer will be
Rather that they prefer fuller ones.
O colleagues [What is it?]
O colleagues [What is it?]
Do your girlfriends have large buttocks?
[They certainly have!]
Encourage them therefore to shake them! [To shake them!]
To shake them! [To shake them!]
(To shake those healthy buttocks!)
(My mistress stands out behind!)

I think lasagna sounds like an excellent choice for a meal. It's making me quite hungry now. I better go.

What do you think about making something like lasagna? We could make those breadsticks that we used to have at Megan's with them and stuff. Thoughts?

Turkeys take a long time. like you have to start them way early in advance it you want them to taste good. Erin you were the one that mentioned turkey. I just mentioned making food together I didn't care what food.

I was thinking that turkey sounded good...I don't know how to prepare one, either. But it would be a good learning experience, right? I'm sure that we could find a recipe online, if we checked. Speaking of, I think I will go do that...I'll post the results on here.
When I talked with Megan (she had the original idea to do this) it sounded like she thought we should cook together. Kind of a dangerous bonding thing. Although it would be fun to do, if not a lot of work.
Dates...I was thinking from a Saturday to a Sunday, as I work until ten on Fridays and would not like to miss anything. Plus, it's fun being at you guys' place on Sundays. Sitting around in jammies is fun!

I'm happy that we finally decided on a date. Cooking food and bringing it sounds just delicious, I'm hungry already with the way that Erin describes things. We'll have to get Angie in on some of this conversation, in the mean time, I think that we might be able to pull off doing some of the Thanksgiving dinner, minus the whole nasty squash deal *ick*. We've never cooked anything as big as a turkey, if that's what you guys were thinking of doing. Since I'm not the big cook in the house, you'd have to ask Angie about that. Umm...were you guys planning on coming on Saturday and staying over till Sunday? Or are we doing a Friday to Saturday thing? Or the whole weekend? Were we all going to help with the cooking? Or just bring certain items that are already prepared. Let us know.

Second weekend of January is good for me, too.
I'm in favor of Thanksgiving-type foods. Good, heavy, sit-in-the-bottom-of-your-stomach food like squash and turkey and stuffing and pumpkin pie. (I ♥ Thanksgiving!)

Erin and I have been conversing back and forth about our Christmas get together on my page as of late. We are wondering if the 2nd weekend of January would work for everybody. I won't be working, and I'll be back home so it sounds okay. What is everyone else's thinking?

For Angie, because I'm not sure whether I got this to her earlier.
RECIPE FOR CHAI TEA
1. Fill regular (microwave safe) coffee mug half-full with milk. Top off with water.
2. Add one tea-bag of black tea--make sure that the tea-bag is submerged in the water. (I suppose you could use others, but I think this one tastes the best.)
3. Microwave for two minutes on high.
4. Remove from microwave. (duh.) And remove tea-bag. (double duh.)
5. Add a couple spoonfuls of sugar, to taste.
6. Stir and enjoy! :)
Note: I have also seen (and bought) the ChaiLatte stuff that they have on the market now. It's in the tea section, if you want to try it, but my recipe is much more cost-effective and (in my opinion) tastes better. xx

Well Like I said in my post. Erin and I were talking earlier tonight and we thought it would be fun to get together for christmas stuff, but like make food like a dinner and hang out that night at someone's place. Play games exchange pictures or whatever. We could all bring something and make the main food at the place and share the grocery costs and stuff. We were thinking that Angie and Kristin's place would be ideal for a few reasons 1. It's both of their places so we wouldn't have to bother any roomates, 2. I live in the dorm 3. It would be 2 people driving to a place verses 3 people. 4. Angie your always saying how we never come up to see your place, this way we will be there. What do we all think of this?

Hmm...I really like your new blog place, Megan. I have such a hard time keeping up with all of your website moves! Maybe someday you'll find a diary place that makes you very squishy-happy. :) (Don't take that squishy thing nasty, you perverts.)
Oh yes. And that Little Tykes Computer you linked to in your last post is really cute. That would completely rock if you got that for your next PC, but I bet it wouldn't be able to handle your operating system requirements and the like...But then again, what do I know?
