I am all for any weekend. I am thinking that it needs to be ASAP. Like the first weekend in MARCH. With Kristin, If Kristin works that weekend then it will be just moved to Angie and Kristin's place. If we don't do it either that weekend or the next or before, I think we should all just forget about it, and yeah, maybe save the gifts for some time else, because this is getting to to far out.

So I have to get you yours again, and this time I will get you the right one, so really no worries. And I don't think that Kristin has part of the Gift I got her. Erin can't return any of hers. So really no worries. Anyway for returning things I agree with Angie, but no worries for gifts from me anyway.

Megan has told me that I will have to return the gift that she got me. I thought that if it looks like we won't be getting together before the receipt expires, I would appreciate it if it was returned for me so I wouldn't be stuck with something I already have (?) and would not be able to return it.

Angie, in case you are still looking for a reliable host for where to move your site. You might want to consider Blogspot. It doesn't have pop-up or pop-under ads, just a banner along the top of your page. And if you are an old enough blogger, you might not need to have ads all together (I logged into my Blogger account, and I don't need to have any ads).

It doesn't have free image hosting, but you can set up an account with a photo host that allows direct linking (I recommend flickr, plus, they're owned by Google, so they're probably not going to go away anytime too soon.) and link to background files, photos and the like from there. And you won't need to go through a ton of hassle setting up ftp stuff, because it's already a part of blogger. And you can have a subdomain.

I mean, if we can't coincide one weekend day to get together in three months' time...Plus, it's about getting together and seeing eachother, right? Not so much about the loot.

(I'm lying. Loot is good, too.) But...you know? We should just set a date, already. If there is something that someone else purchased that was on your wishlist and now isn't, I'm thinking that we are creative enough to snoop it out somehow, if we haven't done so already. I'm really not that worried about repeat gifts...so...yeah.

So...is there any chance at all of doing this before March? :{

Was reading Megan's about me & became disturbed when read part about "Also ♥ scrapbooking, and taking photos, and kids." See, I read it as, "Also ♥ scrapbooking, and taking photos of kids. Isn't that terrible? You skip just a couple of words and get a screwed up answer like that.

Megan, I really don't think that badly of you. It was funny in the end.

I was talking to Erin and Angie last night and during my conversation with Angie, I had an Idea. That since it looks like we won't be able to get together until March sometime,that we all should update our Amazon wish list and take off things that we have already got. That way for those people who are worried about items that might have to be returned, and have a certian time limit on them, they can be exchanged. you know what I mean? Angie said that hers is updated. Also this means that those items would be off limits for the individuals whose names belong to that list at least until we get together. Wow I am sorta wordy this morning.

Well According to the dates that were posted, really anyweekend is ok for me as well, but I would prefer the Feb 18th - the 20th as we don't have school those days. and I would have off the 17th but we have an inservice that day. The weekend of the 25 through the 26 also works for me as of right now. And I would be wanting to spend the night Erin, if that's ok with you, I guess it would be up to you since I would be staying there, *wink*, and If Angie and Kristin couldn't stay overnight, I am still hopeing I can. *smile* Anyway I again won't say that jinx of a word that starts with a "w" and ends in an "er" yeah.... so those are my dates.

Our unkymoods weren't showing up, but I fixed it by changing the code. There is now a non-javascript code that I had to put in to get it to work (for me anyway.)

Going by Erin's dates, I would pick Feb 26/27 but I am unsure about Kristin's work schedule. She'll have to fill everyone in about that stuff.

I need to be in the Cities the weekends (at least the days of) February 12 and February 20, as I am dropping off/picking up my parents at the airport. I'm still (mostly) clear for those weekends, though, other than that.

Otherwise, any other weekend is clear for me at this time. But...you know how it goes...My best pics are for 2/5-2/6 and 2/26-2/27.

OK. I'm going to post the next six weekends, through the first weekend of March--I'd prefer to not have to postpone this much further into March, if I can help it, because this is a Christmas get-together to begin with, plus, if we need to make any returns, it's going to start getting tough (gift reciepts expiring, etc).

What I would like you to do is to post your top two choices that will work for you. Then, hopefully there will be a date in common that works for all of us and we can set a date and a snow date, too.

If there is a weekend that you absolutely cannot under any circumstances attend, list that, too.

Here are the weekend choices:


Also...if you would rather have a day-thing where we get together for one day, minus an overnight, be sure to say that.

If it's Sunday morning, though, I fear it may be a no-go. I think it's Saturday, though. Actually, I'm quite sure it's Saturday morning at some obscenely early time.
